Being a SheDecides Champion means being globally connected to a cause that I advocate for locally and fostering a sense of solidarity and shared purpose across borders. This connection allows me to draw inspiration, knowledge, and best practices from international movements such as SheDecides, while tailoring them to address the unique challenges faced in my community. Our values remain aligned, reinforcing the idea that local action can have a global impact and vice versa.
How we are working so SheDecides
We are proud to have launched Namibia's first Reproductive Justice Clinic, a pioneering initiative designed to provide holistic reproductive health services to communities. This clinic will not only offer comprehensive medical care, including family planning, and reproductive health screenings, but also focus on education and empowerment.
Reproductive Justice Workshops
Workshops aimed at training community leaders on their right to safe, on-demand abortions as a crucial step toward empowering local advocates and fostering informed discussions about reproductive health. These workshops provide comprehensive education on the legal framework surrounding abortion rights, highlighting both national laws and international human rights standards that support women's autonomy over their bodies
Reproductive Justice Clinic
Providing holistic reproductive health care to communities involves offering a comprehensive range of services that address not only the physical aspects of reproductive health but also the emotional, social, and educational needs of individuals. This approach recognises that reproductive health is interconnected with overall well-being and seeks to empower individuals to make informed choices about their bodies and health.

The Voices for Choices and Rights Coalition (VCRC) Namibia is an organisation championing reproductive rights and health in Namibia. Focused on empowering women and marginalised communities, VCRC advocates for informed choices about reproductive health and the assertion of rights.
Recognising that reproductive rights are fundamental human rights, VCRC works tirelessly to eliminate barriers to access safe abortion, family planning, and comprehensive sexual health services. Through grassroots mobilisation, public awareness campaigns, and collaboration with key stakeholders, VCRC educates communities, dispels myths, and promotes a culture of empowerment.
